Revelations (in letters to Risa)

someone is always watching
when you feel the most alone
someone is always caring
in the time of darkest despair
time moves slowly and the sadness sinks in
but someone is observing
the still and quiet are unsettling
yet they are always there wishing for you
pulling for you
and in the hour of most need giving to you
the eyes that we take for granted
see the moments felt unseen
the love and its power is always there
even when the mind does not perceive
suddenly they are there
the door opens and the light comes in
thoughts unspoken intuited and validated
holding you, reminders of truths disregarded
like a test you hold your breath until the last minute
until you think no one will see
and suddenly when you are turning blue
they appear
the eyes that have been watching, loving, seeing
the craziness of the mind vanishes and there is only clarity
they are always watching
the most beautiful eyes in the world
with 20/20 vision
quietly waiting for their moment
to help you see
